HAPPY NOVEMBER!
WOOOOH, Its November?
What happened to 2012?

I hope you are all having a great Thursday!

Thanks to everyone who has checked in after Hurricane Sandy!  All is well!  Keep our city and surrounding states in your prayers

Now get to linking up!

The long of it is, the "Link and Mingle: Sisters in Blogging Social Media Linkup". The short is, the "Link & Mingle". Call it what you wish. :)

Meet our weekly hosts!

and for this week's co-host, we have
Katherine | Irish Italian Blessings

Thank you, ladies!

The "rules" are thus:
visit/follow/like as many links as you can,
link up to as many social media sites that apply to you (please link up only links that apply - blog posts and other links that do not apply will be removed),
share, tweet, and blog about this link party if you so wish,
grab the button {below},
and have fun meeting new people!

Links are connected to each header, to show you just what you should link up. :)

We would love it if you followed all of your hosts and co-hosts, but that's not mandatory. Just have fun! :)

If you would be interested in co-hosting this party periodically, send an email to {shaylee.motheratheart@gmail.com}.

Want to have this blog hop on your site? Click the URL at the bottom of each linkup to get the code. Tweet #link&mingle if you post the hop!

Alright, ladies! Button-up, link-up, and meet-up! :)

Oh Sandy!

The last 48 hours have been eventful ones and the next weeks or months will be ones we will never forget.

I live in New York City which was hit pretty hard but luckily I live in one of the highest parts of Manhattan and it seems that the worst of the damage was down trees.  We still have power and heat.

I have lots of friends who live in some of the most affected areas of the city.  Please keep them in your prayers as they begin to recover from this devastating storm.  Keep our local, state, and national authorities in your prayers as they decide how to move forward.  Especially keep our rescue workers in your prayers as they help rescue those still in harms way.

I've really appreciated all the tweets, texts and emails in the last 24 hours. I am happy to report that I am doing really well and had no damage to speak of.  For me, its been a nice relaxing few days inside with my roommate catching up on Alias and other projects.  The next few days, weeks and months will be the challenge as we see the needs emerge.

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers!
