Zoo Day, Awesome Day

Since my trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo last month with my niece, I have been itching to go back to the Bronx Zoo, here in NYC.  My roommate had yesterday off so we asked our sweet friend Kristina and her adorable 3 kids to join us for a trip to the zoo.

We had a blast, so I thought I'd share a little of that with you today!

Going with kids is always a blast.  They love the simple things. Like turtles and flamingos.

We get to be silly and its OK cause there are kids involved... OK with me its always OK :)

We had a really awkward moment with this baboon. BLUSH... another time... over coffee or better yet, a glass of wine.

We had fun barking with the Sea Lions and watching the Sea Lion kids play.

We got a little attached to the Rhino statues, but that's OK.

They have an amazing lego exhibit. They were so detailed and took hundreds of hours to make!

This guy was having so much fun there in the water by himself . Playing and splashing around with his big reddish/orange ball!

Then we ended with a monorail tour of "Asia" where we saw this beauty!

We had a blast.

We love this family!

Stop by and visit Kristina's Blog to see more about our trip to the Bronx Zoo.

I Love Mondays!  I hope you had a good Monday!
